Reviews of Solo Flight

I will keep this post updated with reviews of Solo Flight.

Matt McCormick wrote this amazing review that has me completely stunned. By the way, if you need an excellent contract programmer from Canada, see Matt’s portfolio.

If John Galt were going to school now in America, he might go through an experience similar to Nolan Cooper. Nolan Cooper is a fifteen year old high school student who has ambitions of more than just fitting in and being cool. He cleverly questions others and other people don’t like it.

Solo Flight is a novel with a powerful message. It will appeal to people who value personal freedom and liberty but also would be a great read for high school student struggling with the message of “Get good grades so you can go to a good university so you can get a good job.” It’s a book I wish I read when I was a teenager. I would have read it many times.

Nolan and the other characters are well developed throughout the story and the writing is excellent. I couldn’t put it down and kept wanting to know what happens next.

Whether you are a libertarian, a pilot or just looking for an entertaining story to read, Solo Flight will not disappoint.

Christine Shuck at The Homeschool Advocate wrote a longish review. Some highlights:

Literally, it felt like Tod had reached into my memories and ripped pages out of my life.

If you have ever felt a small undercurrent of uncertainty, a question that the world is not quite what it seems, then I think you should read this book.

Thanks, Christine!
