Mike Watt, who is an Executive Producer at the American Audio Visual Center, sent in these photos of his real life News Clocks setup. He remembers the Mary Tyler Moore show — which I saw as reruns on Nick at Nite growing up — and actually spent time working in the television industry. The clocks on that show, lined up on a wall, set to different times around the world and labeled underneath, inspired me to create the app and name it “News Clocks”. Heh… some people think that my clocks are supposed to deliver the daily news. They forget, or are too young to know about, traditional newsroom clocks. They should watch more classic TV.
