News Clocks emphasizes simple, intuitive design without sacrificing powerful features. Say goodbye to ugly toolbars, menus, and buttons that clutter up other apps. News Clocks uses all the screen space on your iPad or iPhone to show you the time and location of the cities you choose in beautifully rendered graphics. A huge database of cities, sixteen incredible themes, extensive customization options, and innovative ways to present information makes News Clocks the standard against which other world clock apps are measured.
View Master
The main view displays your clocks arranged like the newsrooms of old (this is where the name News Clocks comes from). To the left is a scrollable map that also shows the day/night terminator, so you can tell whether the sun is shining in Paris. This is also where you activate Nightstand Mode. To the right of the clocks is the Planet View, which presents your cities in a list and even shows the current phase of the moon.
Multiple Alarms, Zero Hassles
Need to make a call at 9 pm London time? No need to convert to local time — just set a 9 pm alarm for London and let News Clocks figure out when to sound the alarm in your time.
Atlas View
When you need a closer look at one of your cities, just tap a clock to open up Atlas View. When you’re in the Atlas, you can swipe the clock left or right to change cities.
Theme Park
Choose from ten beautiful themes and even more color choices. And enjoy six clock designs, including digital clocks.
Little Clocks and Big Clocks
You can add, delete, and rearrange your clocks by pressing and holding on a clock (just like moving apps on the home screen of your iPad). The clocks resize as appropriate.
You Are Here
Search an on-board database of 64,000 worldwide cities, or look up the nearest city using your current location. The database is built-in and no internet connection is required.
Time Zone Converter and Time Calculators
If it’s 8:30 am in Burbank, what time is it in Casablanca? Don’t waste your time with mental math. Just use the Timezone converter (iPad only). You can also find the distance between two cities and the duration between two dates.
